Radio frequencies (RF) are used in aesthetic dermatology to treat cellulite and mild to moderate facial and body skin laxity.
It is a technique in which radio waves are emitted through electrodes. This leads to an increase in the temperature of the tissues of the area, contraction and reconstruction of collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin and fatty tissue. The heat that is produced is transferred to the deeper layers of the skin and fatty tissue and activates fat metabolism, stimulating the production of collagen by fibroblasts. The result is the improvement of skin texture, tightening, lipolysis and toning of the skin.
Results-face
On the face, RF treatment results in neck contouring and skin tightening. It is also applied in the summer months and usually requires 8 sessions with an interval of one week. Ideally the RF treatment can be combined with threading skin lifting, at least 3 months after the end of the treatment, in order to get the best results.
Application
During the application of the radio frequencies, you will feel locally tolerable heat and there may be mild redness of the skin. This will subside very quickly.
Repetition;
After the first 3-4 sessions a difference starts to be seen while on average 10 are required to see the desired result. There is usually one session per week.
