Cryolipolysis is a painless and safe method of reducing local fat without surgery or anesthetic. With special electrodes, a very low temperature is applied to areas with local thickness that we choose for treatment. Fat cells are particularly sensitive to cold, unlike other cell types. Controlled cooling has the effect of destroying fat cells, which the body then gradually removes naturally. The session per area lasts approximately one hour. Immediately afterwards one can return to daily activities.
How long is the session and how many should be done
The session on the targeted area lasts about an hour, depending on the spot, after which you can return to your daily activities. After the first session per area, the doctor will recommend waiting about 6 weeks to evaluate the result. If needed, up to 3 sessions per area can be done.
Usually with one application we achieve satisfactory results, while a more severe problem requires a second application for further improvement. With each cryolipolysis session we achieve approximately 25% local fat reduction.
Results
The first results are visible in 4-6 weeks but the final results appear after a few months, as the injured fat cells are gradually eliminated from the body over a period of 4 to 6 months after the treatment. The lost centimeters create a slimmer silhouette.
4 main advantages of the method
It is painless and non-invasive, so it can be applied to almost all healthy people.
It ensures a permanent result – as long as you maintain your weight.
The result is natural and does not cause relaxation to the skin.
In addition to fat reduction you will notice a visible reduction in cellulite.
In which areas does it apply?
Cryolipolysis can be applied essentially where there are fat stores in the body, i.e. local fat: in the arms, abdomen, back, buttocks, thighs, knees. Depending on the area the doctor will use different heads on the machine.
Contraindications
The treatment is contraindicated in people with sensitivity to cold (cryoglobulinemias, cold urticaria, paroxysmal cold hemoglobinemia).
Recovery
Bruising (bruising) rarely occurs in the treatment areas and lasts for a few days.
