COLLAGEN STIMULATOR TREATMENT (Sculptra)

Method

Polylactic acid (sculptra) is a synthetic dermal bioactivator that is injected into the face, triggering the patient's own collagen production. This non-toxic and biodegradable substance has been used in surgery for over 40 years as a surgical suture.

Results

Polylactic acid works best mainly on the lower half of the face and achieves the filling of lines caused by laughter as well as the filling of deep nasolabial grooves. At the same time, it gives very good aesthetic results in the cheek area by replenishing the lost volume. This material differs from hyaluronic acid, because its action is not immediate. By activating the production of collagen by the patient's body, the results appear gradually over the course of a few months.
